CFP certification enables one to provide professional services related to financial planning; it corresponds to a global professional license related to personal integrated financial planning. A person residing in Korea regardless of his/her race, nationality, gender, religion, age, or health condition, and of whom FPSB Korea approves as having satisfied the international standards of CFP certification requisites, such as completion of educational requirements, passing of certification exams, and taking of an ethical oath designed by FPSB Korea, can obtain a CFP certification. |
CFP Certification is a globally recognized credential for financial planners, of which the trademarks are owned outside the U.S. by the Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB). FPSB Korea is the licensing authority for CFP marks in the Republic of Korea, through agreement with FPSB. |
Only AFPK® certificants are allowed to sit for a CFP certification examination after fulfillment of the CFP educational requirements. However, those who have proven their eligibility status are allowed to sit for a CFP Certification exam. |
